Nicolas Levy, PhD student
Welcome to my professional web page.
I am a PhD student at LIP in ENS de Lyon supervised by Nicolas Schabanel.
My PhD project consists in thinking about DNA nanostructures softwares in terms of user experience. More precisely, my goals are to:
- identify and come up with features that allow to effectively design DNA nanostrctures
- develop tools that implement those features
- design ergonomic and easy to use user interfaces that incorporate these tools.
ENSnano is the result of these reflexions. It is a software for designing 3D DNA nanostructures that aims to be powerful, flexible and easy to use.
Research interests
- Software development, especially in the Rust programing language
- Molecular programing, DNA self assembly and DNA nanotechnologies
